There are a few post-doc positions currently (as of Jan 27, 2021) available in our group for the following projects:<\/p>\n
A: Modelling and simulations of structural and physical changes caused by polymer scission in the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas (B) “Precise degradation science of polymer materials and polymer chains<\/a>.”<\/p>\n B: Modelling and simulations of polymer gels in the JST-CREST program “Elucidation of the mechanism of robust toughening of gels and development of artificial tendons and ligaments.”<\/p>\n Candidates with some skills and experience in computational and theoretical researches are highly welcome. Candidates who have some experience in soft-matter science (even experimental) will also be considered.<\/p>\n The annual salary, including tax, is approximately 4 million JPY (ca. 38,000 USD, which is comparable to the average annual household income in Japan), but it depends on the candidate’s age and career.<\/p>\n Both contracts are for one year.
