{"id":1116,"date":"2017-04-22T22:26:41","date_gmt":"2017-04-22T13:26:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rheology.jp\/nagoya\/?p=1116"},"modified":"2017-09-17T17:20:36","modified_gmt":"2017-09-17T08:20:36","slug":"receiving-the-commendation-by-the-minister-of-education-culture-sports-science-and-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rheology.jp\/nagoya\/2017\/04\/receiving-the-commendation-by-the-minister-of-education-culture-sports-science-and-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Receiving the commendation by the Minister of Education,  Culture, Sports, Science and Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Apr 17th, 2017, I went to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to receive The Commendation for Science and Technology, for &#8220;Advanced Tire Development through Coordinated Utilization of SPring-8, J-PARC and the K Computer&#8221; in collaboration with the researchers in the Sumitomo Rubber Industry, and Prof Shinohara in the University of Tokyo. The prize is the development of rubber materials, which is used for motor-tires. Take a look at the articles by the Sumitomo Rubber (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.srigroup.co.jp\/newsrelease\/2017\/sri\/2017_046.html\">in Japanese<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.srigroup.co.jp\/english\/news\/2017\/2017_046.html\">in English<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Honestly speaking, my contribution to the project is not that large, and actually, I just suggested a few ideas for the simulation of rubbers by the K Computer. The team directed by Dr Kishimoto in the Sumitomo Rubber made the most of the things, and they just kindly add me to the receiver of the prize.
